This is the latest model, the ""New Generation"" V7 Vintage Alder-5, modeled after a 1970s JB bass.
While it's a replica of a 1970s model, it incorporates modern features such as active circuitry, Luminlay construction, and lightweight hardware.
The body is made of North American Alder.
The neck is 34-inch scale Hard Maple, and the fingerboard is also made of Hard Maple.
The fingerboard features an edgeless finish with rounded edges, making it suitable for players who prefer smooth fingering.

The fingerboard radius is 7.25 inches, faithfully reproducing the vintage style.
This bass features a newly designed Marcus Vintage-J Revolution Pickup set.
