Wood Custom Guitars, a new Japanese brand bearing a dignified name,
its dedication to wood is clearly reflected in its quality, and its reputation has rapidly grown in recent years.
Artists known to use this brand include Sohei Mishima (Cinema Staff), Itsuki Shinohara (Karanoa), Aribobo (Yabai T-Shirt Ya-san), and Hiromi Hirohiro (tricot).
This is the brand's flagship model, the Vibe-4.
While based on the traditional Jazz Bass style, it features a design that incorporates the needs of modern players.
The body is made of alder, the neck of maple, and the fingerboard of Indian rosewood.
This is a classic wood combination that provides a rich midrange and well-balanced response.
What immediately catches the eye is the beautiful BPDF Sparkle finish.
This coloring, done by SAITO COLOUR WORKS, creates a striking look that changes its appearance depending on the viewing angle.
This guitar features Evertone pickups.
The preamp has been replaced with a Bartolini XTCT/MCT-500, and a KarDian Trehalose has also been added. The potentiometers and wiring have been replaced accordingly.
The sound boasts a modern character with a well-balanced tight low end, a prominent midrange, and extended treble.
While maintaining the traditional JB nuances, it delivers a high-fidelity, wide-range sound, offering excellent expressiveness across a wide range of genres.
The frets have approximately 95% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
