Roscoe is a high-end bass brand based in North Carolina, USA.
It's known for being used by musicians like Jimmy Haslip, Anthony Crawford, and in Japan, Wataru Suzuki.
This model is a somewhat rare Century 6-string model.
The horn is designed to be slightly longer, and the exquisite body balance makes it easy for those accustomed to Fender styles to switch to it without feeling any discomfort.
The body top is made of beautiful quilted maple, the back is made of ash, and the fingerboard is made of high-quality ebony.
It features a combination of hard, high-quality wood materials that provide excellent attack.
The pickups are Bartolini soapbar type.
They output a rich, full-bodied midrange that is pleasing to the ear.
The preamp is the legendary Aguilar OBP-1.
The intuitive 2-band EQ (Bass/Treble) allows for smooth addition of dynamic thickness and sound pressure.
The sound is based on a crisp, wide-range character, with a rich mid-low range that blends exquisitely.
While fully utilizing the wide range of the 6 strings and 24 frets, the nuance of uniform and clear output across all frequencies from Low-B to the highest register is a rare characteristic unique to this brand.
This is a supreme instrument that combines the overwhelming playability expected of a high-end bass with a superb, practical tone.
The frets have approximately 90% remaining.
The truss rod is stiff, but approximately 90 degrees of movement has been confirmed.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork are in excellent condition with no noticeable scratches.

The bass and treble pots were replaced by GIB due to crackling noise. The preamp has been replaced with an Aguilar OBP-1.
