Description & Condition
Atlansia, a renowned workshop that has long supported Japanese guitar making,
Its unique designs are highly regarded both domestically and internationally, earning the respect of many luthiers and musicians.
This model is a 1982 Garland Bass.
It features a traditional shape that is highly popular within the brand.
The body is likely made of ash.
The neck is maple, and the fretboard is likely ebony.
The roundness of the neck is very distinctive, but at the same time, its comfortable feel is surprising.
The superb finish of the fretboard edge and neck shape likely contributes to this unique character and excellent playability.
This model does not have a truss rod, but the neck feels very secure.
The pickups are ATLANSIA ORIGINAL ARCX4.
The ability to rotate the pickups is a very unique mechanism.
Fine-tuning of each string is also possible.
The sound is fat, and you can strongly feel the low center of gravity.
This is a very unique model, and when you actually play it, you'll be impressed by its sound.
It's a superb instrument that's full of originality yet built to a high standard.
The frets have approximately 70% remaining.
The neck is currently slightly bowed forward, but it's perfectly playable after adjusting to GIB standards (2.0mm-2.5mm at the 12th fret).
The body and paintwork show scattered dents and scratches, and the pickups and metal parts show some tarnishing. The pickguard has noticeable scratches, likely from playing.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
