Description & Condition
Description & Condition
Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It's loved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorious, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee. (Titles omitted)
This is a rare electro-acoustic bass.
It seems to have been produced in small quantities in the 1990s.
The body top is spruce, and the back is mahogany.
The neck is maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
The pickups are Fender LaceSensor and original piezo pickup.
While possessing the acoustic, airy sound of the piezo pickup, it remains powerful, as is typical of Fender.
The frets have approximately 60% remaining.
The truss rod is stiff, but it has been confirmed to move about 90 degrees.
The neck is in good condition. The string height is not adjustable. The current string height at the 12th fret is 3.5mm for both the 1st and 4th strings.
The body and paintwork show some minor dents and scratches on the top. There are also some scratches on the back, including a dent about 10mm long. The skunk stripe has shrunk slightly due to wood shrinkage, creating a small gap, but this does not affect its current functionality. There is a slight tactile feel to the touch. Some tarnishing is visible on the metal parts.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
