Vivie is an effects pedal brand that gained popularity online.
Currently, production has ceased, and Vivie products may become rare.
This model is the classic bass preamp, OwlMithty.
It features a compressor, overdrive, and equalizer all in one pedal.
The overdrive has a strong attack, making it very effective for flashy tones like slap bass. Of course, it also suits pick playing.
The compressor has a natural effect.
While it only has one knob, limiting fine-tuning, this design prioritizes simplicity and ease of use, resulting in a clear and intuitive sound.
Furthermore, the compressor can be switched on/off when the drive channel is selected via an internal switch.
The equalizer is a 3-band design, with a frequency control in the midrange.
This allows for diverse uses, such as cutting unwanted frequencies or pinpointing and boosting specific frequencies.
It possesses the necessary functions for a modern bass preamp pedal and is definitely worth trying.
There are some minor scratches and signs of use. It is in good working order.
