Burny is a Gibson-style copy brand by Fernandes.
Like Fernandes itself, Burny is highly regarded and has many devoted users.
This is the BSB-65 model, featuring a unique body shape.
It's a rare model with a short production run.
The body is made of soft maple, with a graphic flame maple top.
It has a compact body and a small headstock, making it easy to handle.
The neck is made of maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
The pickups are original FMM-1s.
The neck pickup delivers a thick, fat low end, while the bridge pickup provides crisp highs. When mixed, it produces a clear sound with a swept midrange.
The low end, while a humbucker, has a remarkably hard texture, almost like a single-coil. Even when mixed, it features a remarkably smooth sound without unwanted midrange.
This is an excellent instrument, meticulously designed down to the smallest detail, from the body shape to the pickup sound design.
The frets have approximately 70% remaining.
The truss rod is stiff, but it has been confirmed to move about 90 degrees.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show some dents and scratches. The truss rod cover is missing.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
