Moon is a leading, long-established guitar brand in Japan.
It is highly regarded by many professional artists, and Mitsuru Sudo and Larry Graham are known to be fans of the brand. (Titles omitted)
This JJ model, with its slanted neck pickup, is highly regarded as a flagship model.
This is the JJ-185 model.
The body is walnut, and the neck and fretboard are ebony—a popular combination.
This specification is characteristic of the JJ.
The pickups are EMG.
They appear to have been part of the lineup at the time.
The controls are simple: neck pickup volume, bridge pickup volume, master tone, and pickup selector.
