This model is a modern PJ-style bass based on the Precision Bass, but with added potential for further development.
The fingerboard edges are nicely rounded, aiming to improve playability.

The pickup layout is a PB-type split-coil plus a JB-type single-coil.
This is the so-called PJ style.
It is equipped with a preamp, allowing for a wide range of sound shaping.
These electronics are, of course, supervised by Marcus Miller.
The controls are extensive, including volume, tone, balancer, bass, middle, middle frequency, treble, and an active/passive switch.
