Blade is a guitar and bass brand founded in Switzerland by Gary Levinson.
Regarding basses, they primarily specialize in the NYC sound style.
This is an active JB model that was OEM-produced in a Japanese factory in the 1990s.
Based on catalogs and other materials from that time, the specifications correspond to models such as the B4, BJ4, and B4 Special, but due to limited information, we were unable to identify the specific model.

The body is made of ash, and the fingerboard is ebony.
This combination produces a tight and hard sound.
The bridge is a genuine Badass bridge.
The pickups are Levinson originals.
The preamp also appears to be original.
The controls consist of a master volume, balancer, and a 2-band EQ with stacked knobs for treble/bass.
The speedy response, powerful low end, and sharp, crisp high end are truly characteristic of the NYC sound.
