Yamaha is a renowned brand that has supported the Japanese guitar industry since its early days.
While the company boasts many iconic models such as the SBV, SG, and BB, the TRB series is equally beloved.
This is the TRB1004J, a 4-string model.
The body top is made of quilted maple, and the body back is made of alder.
The beautiful wood grain is eye-catching.
The neck is a 5-piece laminated type made of maple and nato.
Lamination reduces individual variations and eliminates extreme wood imperfections, making it less prone to drastic warping.
In that sense, this design is extremely useful in a price range where it's not possible to select only the highest quality woods.
The fingerboard is rosewood.
The pickups are Yamaha's original hum-canceling single-coils, and the preamp is also a Yamaha original.
The modern body design boasts a refined balance, resulting in superb playability and excellent string vibration.
