Description & Condition

Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.

It's loved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorious, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee. (Titles omitted)

The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model than the Precision Bass.

Its sharp, clear sound is loved by many bassists, and it continues to receive overwhelming support and shines brightly even today.

This is a Jazz Bass manufactured in 1975.

The neck pickup date could not be confirmed due to sponge adhesion, but the bridge pickup date is stamped 898⚪︎5.

The neck date is worn, but can be read as 02014255.

The pot dates are 13775⚪︎ for the neck pickup volume pot and 13775⚪︎ for the bridge pickup volume pot.

Based on other specifications and serial number, we determined this guitar was manufactured in 1975.

The body is ash, and the fingerboard is rosewood.

It features the increasingly popular ""smoked silver"" specifications.

The pickups are original gray bobbins.

The tone pot has been replaced with a current CTS model.

The guitar, originally fretless, has been refretted again, making it fretted once more.

The nut has also been replaced accordingly.

The frets and nut are in excellent condition and should last for many years to come.

The heavy ash body delivers a massive low end combined with a rich midrange, creating a sound that envelops the ensemble from below.

This guitar has the potential to remain a top-tier instrument for years to come.

Approximately 95% of the frets remain.

The truss rod is in good condition.

The neck is in good condition. The binding around the 5th to 7th fret on the 1st string side has been later glued on, but this does not affect playability.

The body and paintwork show dents, scratches, paint chips, and weather checking. One of the neck pickup mounting screws is embedded, resulting in weaker fastening. Therefore, neck pickup height adjustment is not possible. Traces of screw holes for a finger rest are visible.

The electronics are in good condition.

The guitar, originally fretless, has been refretted and converted back to fretted. The nut has also been replaced. All knobs have been replaced. All pickup mounting screws have been replaced. One pickguard mounting screw has been replaced. The tone pot has been replaced with a current CTS model.
