Minamo Guitars is a handmade brand based in Shizuoka.
This is the S2 model, characterized by its refined and beautiful design.
The body top is made of Flamed Maple, and the body back is made of Alder.
The distinctive yet elegant grain of the Quilted Maple is striking.
The neck is a laminate of Wenge and Roasted Maple.
This technique of laminating multiple types of wood to create the neck reduces left-right and individual differences, resulting in greater stability.
The fingerboard is made of Indian Rosewood.
The pickups are EMG 40 TW.
The preamp is made by HumpBack Engineering.
When each volume knob is pushed, the single-coil pickup on the bridge side of both the neck and bridge pickups is activated.
The flowing body shape is neat and modern.
The balance when holding the bass is well-proportioned, and even those who usually use Fender-style basses should feel comfortable with it.
It boasts a well-balanced tone from low to high frequencies, rich and beautiful harmonics, and a distinctive trebly character.
