Alleva Coppolo is a brand founded by Jimmy Coppolo, drawing on his experience at renowned New York bass shops like Rudy's.

Initially, the workshop was in New York, but it is now located in California.

It's well-known that many professional bassists, including Paul Turner and Wataru Suzuki, use Alleva Coppolo basses. (Titles omitted)

This is an LG5 model manufactured in 2018.

The body is made of roasted alder, the neck is maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood.

Roasted alder is not commonly used in standard models.

Roasted wood, also known as thermo wood, was originally used for saunas in Finland and is particularly resistant to high temperatures and humidity.

Perhaps due to this, the sound has a smooth attack and a pleasant responsiveness.

The pickups and preamp are original to the brand.

The capacitors have been replaced with those made by HUMPBACK ENGINEERING.

Basically, like most recent Alleva Coppolo basses, it boasts a well-balanced sound and playability, with a pleasant looseness and refined feel.

With its rich low-mids, bright mid-highs, and powerful preamp, the balanced sound is truly that of a king among 5-string JB basses.

It delivers the universally desired JB sound for bassists, a superb instrument with a distinct brand character.

The frets have approximately 85% remaining.

The truss rod is in good condition.

The neck is in good condition.

The body and paintwork have some minor scratches, but overall it is in clean condition.

The capacitors have been replaced with HUMPBACK ENGINEERING capacitors.
