Marleaux is a high-end German brand, handcrafted by artisans led by Gerald Marleaux.
This is the Signature model, the flagship of the brand's representative Consat series.
The body top is Eye Burl, and the body back is Walnut.
The ergonomic design is engineered to perfectly fit the body, resulting in comfortable playability.
The neck is Birdseye Maple, and the fingerboard is Ebony.
Its beautiful appearance clearly shows the use of the finest woods throughout.
The pickups are DELANO SBC.
The preamp features an original ProgramAble 3-band EQ.
By setting one of the two mini-switches to passive mode, and then turning the other mini-switch ON for more than 3 seconds before releasing, you can set the frequency band according to the position of each EQ knob (0, center, 10).
The selectable frequencies are as follows:
Low: 100Hz / 160Hz / 250Hz
Mid: 400Hz / 700Hz / 1.2KHz
Treble: 2.5KHz / 4.0KHz / 6.5KHz
It boasts a fat, impactful low end and crystal-clear highs, along with a refined balance across all frequency ranges.
This is an exceptional instrument that encompasses all the elements expected of a high-end bass: extremely high playability, a wide range of sound-shaping possibilities, and a beautiful appearance.
Fret life is approximately 95%.
