Bacchus is a Japanese brand based in Nagano.
It's a brand under the Deviser umbrella, which owns a large guitar factory called the Asuka Factory. The high quality, stemming from the factory's in-house production, is highly regarded by many musicians.
This model is a WOODLINE model from the Japan Tune-up series, which aims for high quality.
The Japan Tune-up series employs a method where manufacturing is done overseas, with nut adjustments and fret leveling performed domestically.
This model is based on the WL5, featuring a beautiful quilted maple top.
The body top is quilted maple, and the body back is Nyato.
The neck and fingerboard are roasted maple.
Roasted maple is a wood that gains strong stability by volatilizing the moisture and oils within the wood through high-temperature treatment.
Originally used as a building material for saunas in Finland, it is particularly resistant to high temperatures and humidity.
The pickups and preamp are original.
