Description & Condition

Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.

It's loved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorious, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee. (Titles omitted)

The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model than the Precision Bass.

Its sharp, clear sound is loved by many bassists, and it continues to receive overwhelming support and shines brightly even today.

This is a Jazz Bass manufactured in the late 1970s.

The body is made of ash, and the neck and fretboard are made of one-piece maple.

These are specifications typical of the 1970s.

The body and neck are connected with a three-bolt joint.

Weighing over 5kg, it boasts a truly impressive sound.

The pickups are the original gray bobbin pickups.

It has been refretted and the nut has been replaced.

All the pots have been replaced with current CTS parts, and the capacitors have been replaced with Orange Drop capacitors. There is a crack of approximately 23.0mm in the fretboard at the 1st fret due to the truss rod, but there are currently no issues with playability.

The tight lows, bright highs, and sharply scooped midrange are exactly what we imagine a 70s Fender JB to be.

While some guitars like this can have a thin sound, the density and rich harmonics of this one are remarkable.

Highly recommended.

Approximately 80% of the frets remain.

The truss rod is in good condition.

The neck has a crack of approximately 23.0mm in the fretboard at the 1st fret due to the truss rod. There are currently no issues with playability.

The body and paintwork show signs of use, including feather checking, dents, paint chipping, and scratches.

The electronics are in good condition.

The guitar has been refretted and the nut replaced. All potentiometers have been replaced with current CTS potentiometers. The capacitors have also been replaced with Orange Drop capacitors.
