Sadowsky is a high-end New York brand with top-tier musicians such as Marcus Miller and Will Lee as clients. (Titles omitted)
Currently, they offer variations made in the USA (NYC), Germany (Warwick), and China, but this is a model previously manufactured in Japan.
Sadowsky Tokyo, and Sadowsky TYO, were positioned as brands that produced custom models rather than mass-produced ones.
This is a guitar from the Sadowsky Tokyo era.
The body is made of ash, and the neck and fingerboard are made of maple.
It produces a combination of tight, powerful lows and sharp, crisp highs.
The pickups and preamp are original.
It features the brand's signature 2-band EQ.
The bridge is a BADASS BASS V.
Compared to current Metroline and TYO products, the lows feel a little deeper, and the mids feel lighter.
This may be largely due to the Badass bridge.
Even with a low string action, it delivers a rich low end, while maintaining a strong, crisp high-end.
Furthermore, the smooth playability, which allows for solid string vibration even with a light touch, is also appealing.
