Description & Condition

Dingwall is a globally acclaimed brand that functionally incorporates fanned fret designs.

Its users include a wide range of musicians, from established stars like Lee Sklar, Kyle Konkiel, and John Taylor, spanning various ages and genres. (Titles omitted)

The Combustion model is particularly popular, aiming for the ultimate balance of sound, playability, and price.

This particular instrument is a high-performance model, crafted from North American wood processed in a Chinese factory and assembled in Canada.

Many design elements are the same as higher-end models, with no inferior aspects.

The quality is exceptionally high.

Basically, it features a modern design typical of Dingwall.

The body top is made of Quilt Maple, and the back is made of Swamp Ash.

Its exotic look is appealing.

The neck is Maple, and the fingerboard can be selected from Maple or Pau Ferro; this particular instrument has a Maple fingerboard.

The scale length is multi-scale, 37 inches for the 5th string and 34 inches for the 1st string.

This is the brand's standard specification.

The tuning machines are the world-standard Hipshot Ultralite.

The bridge is the original Minimalist.

The quality of these hardware components is high, and no cost-cutting has been done.

The pickups are the highly acclaimed Dingwall FD3-N pickups, and the preamp uses an EMG 3-band EQ.

Position 1: Bridge
Position 2: Bridge & Middle (MM-style)
Bridge & Neck (J-style)
Position 4: Neck

This is precisely what makes a DINGWALL a DINGWALL, and it's also the appeal of this model.

With neodymium magnet pickups that deliver a high-range, powerful sound, a selector with virtually no limitations, and a 3-band EQ, it boasts a flawless, modern, and rational specification.

The deep, rich low end, reminiscent of a piano, resonates tightly with excellent pitch definition—a truly unique sound.

Its superior performance in down-tuning makes it widely used in metal ensembles.

However, even before that, it boasts a high level of craftsmanship as an instrument, possessing a refined balance.

Regardless of the pickup used, it outputs a powerful, flawless sound.

Depending on the settings, it can produce a wide range of sounds, from JB-like to PB-like to MM-like, which is also very appealing.

This is an instrument that gives players more possibilities and expressive power than they might imagine.

We highly recommend you try it at least once.
