This is the new Z7-4 model.

As you can see, it's a model based on the Musicman Stingray.

While the Z3 model was also released, the Z7 adds a pickup and features a preamp with more detailed adjustments.

The body material is Swamp Ash for the NT color, and Alder for the others.

The fretboard uses Roasted Maple, Maple, or Ebony depending on the model.

The neck material is similarly varied: Roasted Maple for the NT color, and Maple for the others.

The pickups are a Sire Premium J+MM set.

These can be freely mixed using the balancer.

The preamp has a middle frequency control, and the controls are Volume/Tone, Blender, Treble, Middle/Freq, and Bass (passive/active switch).

As expected from the brand, it boasts a wide range of controls.

Since the Musicman Stingray doesn't have a passive option, many will likely appreciate the active/passive switch function.

The fretboard and fret finish are outstanding.

While this is expected at this price point, it's also of a high quality that rivals guitars in higher price ranges.

The nut width is 42mm, which follows the Musicman Stingray style and is slightly wider.

The sound is a crisp, strong high end and tight low end—the expected MM-style sound.

Until now, there haven't been many options of this type, but I feel that a truly excellent replica model has finally arrived. Highly recommended.

●Defect Warranty
