Xotic is a brand founded in LA by Japanese builder Hiro Miura.
In Japan, it's used by many famous musicians, including Yoshiki Takahashi, BJ from indigo jam unit, and Katsushi Morioka. Internationally, it's used by Chuck Rainey, Rhonda Smith, Travis Carlton, and many others. (Titles omitted)
The XJ series, manufactured in Japan, has been highly regarded, especially among studio workers.
While fundamentally built in the Fender style, several aspects have been updated with modern touches.
The body is made of ash, and the fretboard is maple—a classic combination.
The pickups are Raw Vintage.
These are handmade in California and are characterized by their clear, crisp, and raw output.
The preamp is an Xotic original.
The sound is refined, with sufficient low frequencies and pleasant harmonics.
Playability is also very high, making it an overall high-level instrument.
For session and studio musicians in particular, there's always been a demand for a JB bass that offers modern playability and preamp features while maintaining a traditional sound.
However, few products meet this demand in terms of quality.

The warranty period is 3 months for used items and 1 year for new items.
