Description & Condition
Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It's loved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorious, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee. (Titles omitted)
The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model than the Precision Bass.
Its sharp, clear sound is loved by many bassists, and it continues to receive overwhelming support and shines brightly even today.
This model is a '60s Jazz Bass from the MIJ Traditional series, which was newly established following the discontinuation of the Fender Japan brand.
Many specifications and manufacturing processes were reviewed during the series' renewal, resulting in a stronger traditional feel closer to the original USA-made models.
The body is made of lightweight and easy-to-handle basswood.
The neck is made of maple, and the fingerboard is made of rosewood.
Combined with the careful assembly by Japanese craftsmen, it boasts smooth and comfortable playability.
The sound is characterized by a thick, open front pickup, a sharp, rich rear pickup, and a deep, clear mixed tone.
In any position, you can enjoy the classic Fender tone that has graced the music scene for over half a century.
This is a classic and standard guitar recommended for players who love traditional looks and sound, while also demanding high quality for live performance.
The frets have approximately 70% remaining.
The truss rod is stiff, but it has been confirmed to move about 90 degrees.
The neck has a slight high-head bow, but it is playable without problems after adjusting the string height at the 12th fret to 2.2mm for the G string and 2.7mm for the E string.
The body and paintwork have scattered dents and scratches. The metal parts are tarnished. The body paint is generally faded. There is a crack in the pickguard near the neck joint on the G string side.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
