Type-2는 고용량(115pF)의 고순도 폴리에틸렌을 절연체로 사용해 제작한 것으로 중음역대 음질 특성이 강한 것으로 전해진다. 실제로 연주해 보면 이쪽이 Type-1보다 좀 더 돈샤리적인 느낌이 듭니다. 800Hz 영역이 더 강하게 들리고 300~500Hz 영역이 더 꽉 차게 들리는 것일 수도 있습니다. 저주파 범위를 더 선명하게 만든다고도 할 수 있습니다.
범위 자체는 Type-1만큼 넓지만 저주파수가 더 집중적이고 선명합니다. 중음역이 너무 많은 SG 베이스나 슬랩을 주로 연주하는 베이시스트에게 딱 맞는 제품입니다.
