가나가와현 카시와시에서 워크숍을 진행하고 있는 KZ 기타웍스는 과거 브라이언 메이 레드 스페셜의 공식 시그니처 모델을 만들어 크게 알려졌던 국내 최고급 기타 전문 메이커이다. 물론 RED SPECIAL도 높은 평가를 받고 있으며, 제조사의 오리지널 모델은 뛰어난 연주성과 고음질로 높은 평가를 받고 있으며, 현재는 기타리스트 와타나베 카티츠미 씨가 기용하고 있습니다.
KZ One Junior는 플래그십 모델인 KZ One을 더욱 심플하게 배열한 모델입니다.
스케일은 일반 펜더와 깁슨의 중간에 PRS와 동일한 635mm를 채용합니다. 펜더나 깁슨이 없고 절묘한 반응과 부드러운 스트링 진동이 특징이다.
로우엔드부터 하이엔드까지 넓은 음역의 밸런스를 맞춘 KZ 오리지널 픽업 "kgw"는 60년대 브리티시 톤으로 제작되었습니다. 보빈 형태, 코일 감는 방법까지 고집한 완전 오리지널 제품, 현대 제품에 대한 소음 대책도 완벽합니다. 기존의 싱글 코일 픽업보다 거칠지 않아도 되는 날카로운 사운드가 필요합니다.
푸시/풀 스위치를 전환하는 미니 스위치와 5WAY 레버 스위치 이외의 직렬/병렬 전환 의사 등 유연한 사운드 구성을 지원하는 컨트롤이 본 기기의 주요 특징입니다. 이를 통해 11가지 유형의 사운드 변주가 가능합니다. 게다가 오리지널 픽업의 KGW는 여러 픽업을 결합할 때 톤을 고려한 캘리브레이션이기 때문에, 특히 Mick Spit의 경우 다른 기타와는 압도적으로 다를 것이라고 생각합니다.
