ZON is a bass brand established in 1981.
Its designs, which actively incorporate new materials like graphite and Phenowood, are highly regarded and favored by musicians such as tetsuya of L'Arc-en-Ciel and Michael Manring.

This instrument is a Japanese-made prototype model of the Legacy Elite.

While the standard USA-made model typically features a composite neck primarily composed of graphite paired with a Phenowood fingerboard, this Japanese-made prototype likely employs a maple neck and ebony fingerboard.

Furthermore, it incorporates an internal truss rod, allowing for neck adjustment.

The body top appears to be koa, while the back seems to be mahogany.

The pickup is a Bartolini original soapbar type, and the preamp is a Bartolini NTCT.

Compared to the USA-made model, the sound has a wider range and a more open impression.
Yet, it retains the characteristic ZON power and speed.

A very rare piece with extremely limited production.
Please experience the organic sound unique to the Japanese-made model.

Approximately 80% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is stiff but confirmed to move about 90 degrees.
The neck condition is good.
The body and finish show minor dings overall.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
