Xotic is a brand founded in LA by Japanese guitar builder Hiro Miura.

Domestically, its guitars are used by many famous musicians, including Yoshiteru Takahashi, BJ of Indigo Jam Unit, and Katsuji Morioka, as well as Chuck Rainey, Rhonda Smith, and Travis Carlton. (Titles omitted)

The XJ series, a Japanese-made line, has been highly praised, especially by studio workers.
While built in the Fender style, it has been updated with some modern touches.

This is an early model from the series.

The body is made of alder and the fingerboard is made of rosewood, a classic combination.

The pickups are made by Lindy Fralin, and the preamp is a Trilogic.

The design is clean and sleek, with no mini-switches on the top of the body.
The push-pull controls on each volume control allow for preamp bypass and pickup wiring (series/parallel).

The sound is refined, with sufficient low-end and pleasant overtones.
It also has excellent playability and is overall of a high level.

Session and studio musicians in particular are always in demand for JBs that offer modern playability and preamps while still maintaining a traditional sound.

However, there are not many products that meet this demand in terms of quality.

I believe the Xotic XJ is one of the products that best meets this demand.

Approximately 75% of the frets remain.

The truss rod is in good condition.

The neck is in slight high-rise mode. Adjusting it to GIB standard (2.0mm-2.8mm at the 12th fret) allows for smooth playability. There is only about 0.2mm of bridge drop remaining on the 1st string.

There are numerous dents on the body and finish.

The electrical system is in good condition.

No obvious modifications were found.

●Lifetime Free Maintenance

Instruments purchased from our store are eligible for a lifetime free ""string vibration setup"" (normally ¥4,400). (Reservation required)

- Please present your signed warranty card.

●Repurchase Price Guarantee

●Defect Guarantee

With the exception of some consignment items and other products, we will repair any malfunctions that occur under normal use free of charge during the warranty period (returns and refunds will only be accepted if repairs are not possible).

The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.

Please note that even within the warranty period, there will be a fee for repairs in the following cases:

- Malfunctions or damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
- Replacement of consumables.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
