Torillo Basses is a bass guitar brand based in Germany.
Builder Tom is also a musician, and he uses his experience to create excellent basses.

He has been a bass guitar builder for over 20 years.
As a professional musician himself, the basses he builds combine practicality for stage performance with the elegance to add color to music.

To be honest, it's frustrating that production isn't increasing due to Tom's busy schedule as a musician.

In fact, the three basses that arrived in 2024 were actually orders placed before 2022.

I first met Tom in Mannheim, Germany in 2019.

It was at a guitar show called Guitar Summit.

You can sense their outstanding quality at first glance, and that impression doesn't change, in a good way, even when playing their latest products.

It was an established brand even back then.

By the way, at the first venue in Germany where I met him, the virtuoso Etienne Mbappé was trying out Torillo Basses.
As I listened to him talk, he was really praising it and seemed like he was considering buying one.

However, what he was interested in was something GIB had secured, and that was the Chantico, which was the first to arrive in Japan at the time.

Now, this, one of the three guitars we have in stock this time, is a Chantico in the JB style.

FCV stands for Full Custom Voice, and refers to a top-of-the-line model, built with the highest technology and every element constructed from scratch for a single order.

The Chantico is based on the Jazz Bass, and mixes traditional elements in the Torillo style.

The carefully crafted neck exudes strength and flexibility.
The smooth neck grip and beautiful fretwork support smooth playing.

You can tell that the musician's convenience was taken into consideration when creating this beautiful neck.

It's an incredible job, possible only because he's a musician and builder.

The pickups and preamps are custom-made to suit his company's needs.

The sound is powerful and speedy.
It features massive, earth-shattering lows and a powerful, sky-shattering presence.

This full-range, powerful nuance is in some ways reminiscent of an MTD and in others of a vintage Fender.

This is truly a new-generation modern JB, inspiring unprecedented imagination.

Approximately 80% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is stiff, but has been confirmed to move about 90 degrees.
The truss rod adjustment slot is narrow, so there is a high risk of damaging the edge when adjusting.
There are already scratches on the edge. The neck is in good condition.
The body and finish have minor dents. There are also scratches on the pickguard.
The electrical system is in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.

● Lifetime Free Maintenance

Instruments purchased from our store are eligible for a lifetime free "string vibration setup" (normally ¥4,400). (Reservation required)

- Please present your signed warranty card.
- Only the original purchaser from a GIB or TONIQ store or online store is eligible.
- Please note that shipping and other related costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.

● Repurchase Price Guarantee

If you sell your purchase within six months of purchase, we will guarantee the repurchase price. This guarantee is 50% for new instruments and 70% for used instruments.

● Defect Guarantee

Products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some products such as consignment items, we will repair any malfunctions that occur under normal use within the warranty period from the date of purchase free of charge (returns and refunds will only be accepted if repairs are not possible).

The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.

Please note that even within the warranty period, there will be a fee for repairs in the following cases:

- Malfunctions or damage caused by transportation, moving, dropping, etc.
- Replacement of consumables.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by handling that violates the precautions in the instruction manual.
- Malfunctions or damage to parts repaired or modified by parties other than us.
