Sago is a handmade guitar brand based in Hyogo that specializes in fully custom-made guitars that fulfill all customer requests.

The brand is also trusted by musicians, with Sago artists including Tabuchi of UNISON SQUARE GARDEN, RIO of Mary's Blood, and Kusakari of Sakanaction.

This model is the Ove, an original model favored by many artists.

Since a spec sheet is not included, it is difficult to determine the details, but the body is likely Thermo Alder.

Thermo wood was originally a building material for Finnish saunas and is particularly resistant to high temperatures and humidity.
Perhaps this is due to the smooth attack and comfortable response.

The neck is a three-piece maple neck and the fingerboard is rosewood.
The neck has beautiful tiger-eye grain.

The pickups are Aguilar humbucking pickups, and the preamp is also an Aguilar OPB-2.
This is an electrical system you'd expect from a custom model.

The sound is unique, with the strong lows characteristic of Sago.

At the same time, the mid-range is powerful and has rich high-frequency overtones that are just as impressive.

This balance would make it a perfect fit for a modern ensemble.

Approximately 85% of the frets remain.

The truss rod is stiff, but has been confirmed to have about 90 degrees of movement.

The neck shows slight high-angle tilt. Depending on the picking strength, there may be a buzzing sound from the 19th fret onwards, especially on the bass string side.

The body and paint show noticeable tarnish on metal parts and paint chipping. Other signs of use include scratches and rust on the pickups.

The electrical system is in good condition.

There is a 9V battery in the cavity separate from the battery box, so it appears to have been converted to 18V at a later date.

The warranty period is three months for used items and one year for new items.
