This model is the signature model of Alain Caron, Canada's leading jazz bassist.

It features 6 strings, fretless construction, and piezo pickups.

The body top is made of spruce and the back is made of figured maple.

It is chambered for acoustics.

The neck is made of maple and the fingerboard is made of Macassar ebony.

The grain is beautiful and refined no matter where you look.

This particular model does not have adjustable string height.

With exposed strings, the current settings are 2.0, 2.3, 2.6, 3.1, 3.6, and 4.0mm at the 12th fret, and it is playable without any issues.

If necessary, we can also repair the string height by grinding down the bridge at GIB, so please feel free to ask.

The pickups are original, with magnetic and piezo pickups.

These can each be controlled with independent volumes.

The preamp is also original.

The sound is appealing, combining the warmth and airiness of acoustics with the power and thrust of electrics.
