Dorian James Guitars, based in California, has a wide clientele ranging from session musicians to arena-class artists, and is highly acclaimed for its reliable quality and unique looks and sound.

While centered on the Fender style, their unique style blends nuances from famous brands like Gretsch, Gibson, and Mosrite.

All work, including cutting the wood, shaping, and assembling, is done entirely by hand.
The builder's passion is poured into each and every guitar.

The BERTHA T is a model inspired by the Original Precision Bass.

The body features an alder body and a rosewood fingerboard, a classic wood construction.
The slab body with no contour cuts and binding gives it a luxurious look.

Due to a defect, it has been replaced with a Seymour Duncan SCPB-1 Vintage Single Coil Piano Bass.
This model originally featured noiseless pickups, but this particular one produces a more OPB-like sound.

The clear, thick, and deep sound is appealing.
The crisp, bouncy feel typical of North American guitars makes this a joy to play.

Its simplicity contributes to its core, high-quality sound.

I highly recommend it.

Approximately 80% of the frets remain.

The truss rod is stiff but has been confirmed to function at about 90 degrees.

The neck is in good condition.

The body and finish show minor scratches and dents.

The electrical system is in good condition.

The pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncan SCPB-1 Vintage Single Coil P-Bass pickups. The jack is a Puretone.

●Lifetime Free Maintenance

Instruments purchased from our store are eligible for a lifetime free ""string vibration setup"" (normally ¥4,400). (Reservation required)

- Please present your signed warranty card.
- Only the original purchaser from a GIB or TONIQ store or online store is eligible.
- Please note that shipping and other related costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.

●Repurchase Price Guarantee

If you sell your purchase within six months of purchase, we guarantee a repurchase price of 50% for new instruments and 70% for used instruments.

● Defect Warranty

All products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some consignment products, we will repair any malfunctions that occur during normal use within the warranty period from the date of purchase free of charge (returns and refunds will be accepted only if repairs are not possible).

The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.

Please note that even within the warranty period, a fee will be charged for repairs in the following cases:

- Malfunctions or damage caused by transportation, moving, dropping, etc.
- Replacement of consumables.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by handling that violates the precautions in the instruction manual.
- Malfunctions or damage to parts repaired or modified by parties other than Basic.
- If your name, model name, serial number, etc. are not written on the warranty card, or if the wording has been altered.
- If the warranty card is not presented or is lost.
