Three Dots is a new brand created by Yoshiyuki Kikuchi (and Okata International) who has earned tremendous trust from many professional bassists, particularly in work related to Sadowsky.
This model is an ambitious creation, taking the traditional JB as its motif and fully incorporating Mr. Kikuchi's vision.
It adopts a design that builds upon Fender's style in many areas, such as the neck angle and initial setup, strongly emphasizing playability.
This nuance feels reminiscent of early Sadowsky series like the TYO and Sadowsky Metroline Slap Master.
The pickups feature an original design.
These pickups reference the sound of vintage Fenders used by professional musicians on stage.
Refined through repeated trial and error, these pickups deliver a sound that isn't flashy, but offers excellent balance across the low to high frequencies, resulting in a very refined overall tone.
Given the current era, pursuing a more powerful, flashier tone might be a valid marketing approach, but I personally appreciate that this model doesn't aim for that.
