Sire gained sudden fame as the brand that released basses supervised by Marcus Miller.
The quality of the guitars and basses they manufacture is exceptionally high, earning strong support even beyond Marcus fans.
This is the new V7 Ash-5 Reissue.
What exactly is a Reissue? It seems to refer to the re-production of models whose manufacturing had been halted due to the shortage of Swamp Ash since 2021.
It seems relatively available in Japan, though perhaps we were just lucky.
Some models feature POPLAR BURL for the top wood, giving them an exotic look.
The natural appearance of Ash is also superb, so please choose whichever you prefer.

The neck is standard Maple, not Roasted.
This is a matter of preference, but I imagine many will welcome this specification.
The finish on the fingerboard and frets is outstanding.

It features a tight yet richly harmonic sound with a powerful tone that includes a moderate amount of natural compression.
