Tune is a well-established bass brand based in Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture.
Since its establishment in 1983, it has been loved by many bassists up to the present day.
This model is one of Tune's representative creations and is also designed to be a multi-string bass.
The body is beautiful maple, and the neck is also maple, but this one has a svelte grain.
The fingerboard looks like rosewood.
The excellent body balance for high playability is attractive.
It would be surprisingly playable even if you switch from a Fender.
Pickups are EMG and preamp is original.
The sound is speedy and massive. It is the best.
The frets are roughly 70% remaining.
The truss rod is a little stiff, but we have confirmed that it works about 90 degrees.
The neck has some waviness with forward warp on the low frets.
The current string height at the 12th fret is 2.0mm on the 1st string side and 2.5mm on the 4th string side.
The serial on the neck end is almost faded.
The condition of the body and painted surface is generally scratchy with a few dings and scratches. There are no large ones that show the wood.
The electrical system is in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
