K.Yairi is a Japanese brand famous for manufacturing acoustic guitars.
This is the YB-2, an acoustic bass, which is not manufactured in large quantities.
The body is made of spruce veneer on the top and ovangkol plywood on the sides and back.
The neck is mahogany and the fingerboard is rosewood, which is a relatively classic specification here.
The scale is 812mm, which is somewhat shorter than the 864mm commonly found on Fenders and other guitars.
The scale is somewhat shorter than the 864mm scale commonly used by Fenders and other players.
The pickups are L.R.Baggs ELEMENT VTC.
It is very convenient to get a signal without a microphone.
It is a 5-string version, tuned EADGC, with high pitched strings.

The truss rod is in good working order.
The neck is in good condition. The current string height is 2.5 mm on the 1st string side and 2.7 mm on the 5th string side on the 12th fret. There are minor dents near the heel. Two screws are missing from the rod cover.
The condition of the body and painted surfaces is very clean and no scratches were found. It is a beautiful item.
The electrical system is in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
