Fender is the undisputed number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It is loved by countless top artists such as James Jemerson, Bobby Vega, and Michael League.

The Precision Bass was the world's first solid electric bass with frets, and quickly captivated bassists around the world.
More than half a century after its birth, its brilliance remains unchanged and beloved.

Fender Japan started in the 80's as Fender made in Japan, but unfortunately it has been discontinued and integrated into Fender itself.
However, the brand's quality is still supported by many artists and continues to be sought after today.

This model is a PB62, a faithful reproduction of the '62 PB style.
The back of the neck is stamped PBD-62.

There is a large dish-cut mark in the lower hole for the neck set screw on the body, which is unfamiliar.
The paint is also on the countersunk part, which suggests that the countersunk cutting was done at the time of manufacture, rather than afterwards.

There is a repair to the lower hole in the pickguard.
From this point, it is possible that the pickguard is not original, or that the lower hole was adjusted to fit a shrunken pickguard.

The neck end is stamped 12.13.90.

By comparing this guitar with the catalogs of the time, it seems to be a PB62-500 based on the bridge specifications.

It is very lightweight and has an attractive, generous sound typical of PBs.

The remaining frets are approximately 70%.
The truss rod is in good working order.

The neck is in good condition, but the string height at the 12th fret is 2.5mm on the 1st string side and 3.0mm on the 4th string side, and it is playable without any chattering.

There are several dents on the head and grip.
There are two sticker marks on the back of the head.
The peg button on the first string is distorted, but it works well.

The condition of the body and paint surface has some dents throughout.
There is one crack in the paint near the neck pocket.
There is a yellowing area due to tanning.

Hardware parts are dull and chrome is peeling.

The electrical system is in good condition.

The finger rest has been retrofitted using one of the holes under the existing pickguard screws.
