AP is the sibling brand of Arai Trading's Aria Pro II.
It is an international brand that has been active since the dawn of Japanese guitar making.
The IGB is one of their representative models, aiming for a superior balance that would be comfortable to take over from a Fender.
It has a through-neck joint, a Schaller-like bridge, and a high-end feel.
The electrical system has been modified, with EMG JV pickups and EMG BQC preamp.
The body is curved flame maple on the top and mahogany on the back. The maple is thick.
The neck is maple and walnut laminate, and the fingerboard is black ebony.
The sound is massive, clear, and fast.
The quality is clearly high upon first listen.
One of Japan's finest instruments, highly recommended.
The remaining frets are approximately 70%.
The truss rod is fully tight.
The neck is bent forward with a gap of about one business card. There is a slight high up and a little fret lift at the high frets. The string height on the 12th fret is currently adjusted at 2.0mm on the 1st string side and 2.5mm on the 4th string side, but depending on how hard you pick the strings, you may get stuck or chattering. Scratches and small dents are scattered throughout. The grips were originally painted matte, but have been played in and have a glossy finish.
The condition of the body and painted surface has numerous dents on the body sides and back. The areas where the body hits the surface are shiny.
The condition of the electrical system is good.
Pickups have been replaced to EMG JV-Set and preamp to EMG BQC.
