saitias guitars is a bass brand based in Chigasaki.
They have collaborated with many professional artists such as Radwimps and Wakazaemon, which shows their high level of reliability.
This model is Lorentz with 30.5inch scale, headless and compact style.
I first encountered it at the Bakunin Messe in 2022.
Frankly, at first I thought it was a kooky model, but in fact it was completely different and I immediately placed an order for it because of its high quality.
The first two were sold out immediately, and this was the next one we ordered.
Understanding the high quality, we suggested and ordered a 5-string with a high C specification.
The result was fantastic.
The design is unfamiliar, so you may not be able to imagine how it feels when you actually hold it.
However, when you actually hold it, you can feel the high quality of the design from the neat balance that fits strangely.
The sound really shows the fatness of the short scale.
The properly made neck and fingerboard are designed for good playability.
The sound and playability are both of high quality, giving the impression of being extremely practical and capable.
Pickups are Nordstrand THE BIG MAN and the pre-amp is by Humpback Engineering.
Controls are volume, treble, bass and PU wiring switch (series, tap, parallel).
The treble and bass are both boost-only and clean.
This is not a bass that will suit everyone, but it is certainly a masterpiece that more than satisfies the needs of some musicians, especially in terms of size and sound.
