This model is a flatter, less seasoned version of the focus.
The original model was characterized by a relatively pushy sound, but this one is more bassist-friendly.
There are only five knobs: Compression, Level, Gain, Treble, and Bass.
Compressors can have complex controls, but these are preset to some extent by the manufacturer.
LEDs light up according to the degree of application, making it easy to set the compressor to apply compression at the input level you want.
Compressors are inherently very difficult effects to set, but the UI design is excellent in providing such simple control.
Gain and Level are separated, but I feel that the sound becomes tauter as the gain is increased.
In addition to this, the onboard EQ makes it possible to create a deep sound that is more than just compression.
