Description & Condition
G&L has several series according to the manufacturing method and price range, and this is the Tribute series manufactured in Indonesia.
This model is manufactured in Indonesia to keep down the cost, but at the same time, it uses the same hardware, such as pickups, as the original USA model, and has authentic specifications.
This is the flagship model ASAT Classic.
This is the final model of the Telecaster series, the last model created by Leo Fender, the creator of the Telecaster.
The body is made of standard ash.
The body is made of standard ash and finished in a see-through natural finish to bring out the grain of the ash wood, giving it a beautiful look.
The neck and fingerboard are made of maple.
The fretboard radius is slightly flatter than that of traditional spec Fender guitars, which makes the guitar stress-free and easy to play.
The pickups are equipped with MFD (Magnetic Field Design) pickups, which can be said to be G&L's greatest feature, as in the USA.
By placing a ceramic magnet under the coil to increase the output and reducing the number of coil turns, G&L has succeeded in eliminating the lack of power and noise that was once considered a weak point of single coil pickups.
Furthermore, the height of the pole piece can be adjusted on this pickup.
This is a rare feature for single coil pickups, and is a great feature for guitarists who want to precisely adjust the volume balance for each string.
The bridge uses a 6-way saddle bridge.
Conventional Telecasters have two strings on one saddle, making it impossible to perform accurate octave tuning, but this bridge allows precise tuning for each string.
In terms of sound, the ASAT is characterized by a sound that is both warm and crisp.
It has the impression of a thicker, clearer version of the traditional Telecaster sound, and fits both clean tones and hard drive sounds well.
We recommend this gem to those who are looking for a modern Telecaster sound that matches today's music.

Scratches on metal parts and rust that cannot be removed by cleaning are scattered.
