Fender is undoubtedly the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It's beloved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorious, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee. (Titles omitted)

The Jazz Bass was released as a premium version of the Precision Bass.
Its sharp, clear sound is beloved by many bassists, and it continues to enjoy overwhelming support and a shining presence today.

This model features a separate body and neck from the 1970s, making it a so-called two-piece unit.

There is no neck date or serial number, so it is listed as a 1970s model.

All pot dates are 137-7343.
This indicates a 1973 model.

The neck shows signs of having been four-bolt fastened, suggesting it is likely from before 1974.

The body is three-bolt fastened, and the finish texture suggests it dates to the late 1970s.

The body is made of ash, with a maple neck and fingerboard, a classic construction.

The center of the first-fret inlay appears to be slightly raised and cracked, suggesting that the truss rod may be pushing up on the fingerboard.

Currently, the guitar plays without any problems.

The pickups have been replaced with Vanzandt ones.

It has the sharp, crisp sound that is characteristic of a 1970s JB.

Approximately 50% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition. The center of the first-fret inlay appears to be slightly raised and cracked, suggesting that the truss rod may be pushing up on the fingerboard. The finish on the neck grip is cracked and chipped.
The body and paint show scattered dents and scratches.
The electrical system is in good condition.
The neck and body are from different eras. Although it currently has three fastenings, there are traces of a four-fastening on the neck. There are no date indications on the neck end or neck pocket. The nut appears to have been replaced. The back of the PG is shielded with silver foil. The pickups have been replaced with Vanzandt pickups. The jack has been replaced with a China-made one. The wiring has also been replaced. The strap pins have been replaced with Schaller-made ones.
