It is loved by countless top artists such as James Jemerson, Bobby Vega, and Michael League.

The Precision Bass was the world's first solid electric bass with frets, and quickly captivated bassists around the world.
More than half a century has passed since its birth, and it is still loved as much as ever.

This model is a Precision bass manufactured in 1964.

The neck is stamped "AUG64G.
The serial L36746 stamped on the neck set plate suggests that it was made in 1964.

The pots have been replaced with DiMaggio ones, and the capacitors are not original.
The black bobbin pickups are probably original.

The tuning keys and bridge are judged to be original.

The frets and nut have been replaced, giving it a somewhat modern look.

Atmospheric rounded fingerboard with clay dots.
Bird's eye neck is solid and easy to play.

The pickguard has some age-related shrinkage, and the mounting screws are at an angle.

Some traces of glue can be seen on the body side near the holes for the pickguard screws.
This is expected to be the result of repairing the loose lower hole.
We briefly considered the possibility of refinishing due to the blue paint in this vicinity, but there is little else to suspect it.
Therefore, we conclude that this is the original coloring, not a refinish.

The frets are roughly 80% remaining.
The truss rod action feels a little stiff, but we have confirmed at least 90° of movement.
