This high-cost-performance model is made of wood procured in North America, processed in a factory in China, and assembled in Canada.
The basic design is the same as the higher-end models, with a 37-inch scale on the 5-string and a 34-inch-no-multi scale on the 1-string.
The deep, piano-like sound that resonates with a sense of pitch is unique to the Dingwall.
It has a unique control that allows for a variety of sounds that are unimaginable on a typical bass.
In particular, the rotary switch pickup selector offers a variety of PU wiring options.
The maple neck is laminated, with a straight grain center and straight grain sides.
These are of excellent quality to look at and show the manufacturer's attention to detail.
Even though it is a cost-effective model, you can feel that the manufacturer is particular about the quality of the neck.
The model was originally 2PUs, but they have modded it to 3PUs.
The pickguard has been replaced with a new one, and the knobs have also been changed.
The frets are approximately 80% remaining.
