Delano is a leading pickup preamp brand that has been widely adopted in recent years, particularly by high-end European brands.

This unit is the SONAR, an on-board preamp made by Delano.

It has very natural characteristics, and with the EQ flat, the sound is almost the same as when bypassed.

The three EQs - Bass for controlling the sound pressure of the bass itself, Middle for controlling the sharpness and Treble for controlling the acoustic part of the sound - allow for flexible sound creation.

9V-18V voltage compatibility and large headroom. Low noise, high sound quality and low power consumption means you don't have to worry about frequent battery changes.

Very compact in size, the design allows it to fit into small cavities such as a jazz bass.

The EQ is pre-wired and the all-in-one set also includes a balancer pot and a volume pot with switch for bypass.
