NTBT is famous for use of Larry Graham, and is characterized by powerful and bonotropy sound as you know in his sound.
The Tone Boost Switch is a switch with a middle range adjustment, and a more clear low-pass can be obtained.
Outboard preamp is a staple such as Sands Amplifier, MXR, but it is quite good.
It is also famous for using EOW's bassist Iizuka Yutaro.
