이 모델은 ASAT Classic의 주력 모델입니다.
이 모델은 텔레캐스터의 창시자인 레오 펜더(Leo Fender)가 마지막으로 작업한 최종 텔레캐스터 모델입니다.
일본의 세계적으로 유명한 전통 기타 제조사 Fujigen에서 제작한 프리미엄 시리즈 모델입니다.
이 하이브리드 모델은 일본에서 신중하게 생산되었으며 원래 USA 모델에 사용된 것과 동일한 픽업을 사용합니다.
본체는 표준 목재인 재로 만들어졌습니다.
바디는 클래식 목재인 애쉬(Ash)를 사용하였으며, 애쉬우드의 결을 살려 시스루 마감으로 마감하여 아름다운 모습을 연출하였습니다.
넥은 메이플, 지판은 로즈우드로 제작되었습니다.
지판 반경은 원래 Fender보다 약간 더 평평하며, 스트레스 없는 연주성은 매우 매력적입니다.
픽업에는 미국과 마찬가지로 G&L의 가장 큰 특징이라고 할 수 있는 MFD(Magnetic Field Design) 픽업이 탑재되어 있습니다.
출력을 높이고 코일 회전 수를 줄이기 위해 코일 아래에 세라믹 자석을 배치함으로써 싱글 코일 픽업의 약점으로 여겨졌던 전력 부족과 소음을 해결하는 데 성공했습니다.
또한 이 픽업에서는 구멍 조각의 높이를 조정할 수 있습니다.
이는 싱글 코일 픽업에서는 보기 드문 구조로, 각 현의 음량 밸런스를 정밀하게 조정하고 싶은 기타리스트에게 훌륭한 사양입니다.
교량은 6방향 안장교를 사용합니다.
기존 텔레캐스터는 하나의 새들에 2개의 스트링이 있어 정확한 옥타브 튜닝이 불가능했지만, 이 브리지를 사용하면 각 스트링에 대한 정밀한 튜닝이 가능합니다.
사운드 측면에서는 따뜻함과 청량함이 공존하는 것이 ASAT만의 독특한 사운드의 특징이다.
