Jazzmaster는 1958년 Fender에서 고급 모델로 출시되었습니다.
처음에는 재즈 전용 모델로 출시되었지만 Jazzmaster의 두툼한 사운드와 멋진 외관으로 인해 많은 아티스트들의 사랑을 받게 되었으며 언더그라운드 음악계에서 다채로운 부분을 차지해 왔습니다.
현재는 일본의 많은 록 아티스트들이 사용하는 인기 모델입니다.
본 모델은 Fender Japan의 단종 후 재구성된 새로운 Fender입니다.
여전히 일본에서 제조되지만 이전보다 미국 사양과 입력이 더 많아졌습니다.
HYBRID 시리즈로서 이 제품은 빈티지한 외관을 유지하면서도 다양한 분야에서 현대 연주자를 위한 몇 가지 혁신을 가미했습니다.
