Secret EFX is an Italian brand founded by Luca Cesaroni.
He has worked in the music and guitar industry for many years and started the brand to create products that were needed in his line of work but did not exist in the world.
The main electronic design is done by his friend Guido Borghesani.
Guido is a professional engineer and is trusted to work in various fields ranging from medical equipment and contemporary art as well as audio equipment.

I met Luca at a guitar show in Europe.
I immediately understood from our conversation that he has a passion for guitars, respect for artists, and a great personality.
He explained each of the products to me on the spot while actually playing them and I was completely convinced and decided to enter into a partnership with him.
The Secret-1 is an overdrive that still retains the natural and original sound.
The GAIN is set to 0 for a clean sound, and when raised, it is pushed to the point where it produces distortion with a fuzz-like texture. However, the great thing is that it is only clear and stays in the crunch range.
TONE consists of a passive circuit that changes the high frequencies in an understated way. This is good for suppressing the messy edges of distortion that can be overemphasized in certain amps and cabinets.
VOLUME is located at the end of the circuit. It does not affect the sound character, only the volume completely.
