DR is one of the most traditional guitar string manufacturers in the world.

Bootsy Collins, Fieldy, Melvin Lee Davis, Etienne Mbappe and many others are known to use DR.

This is the new Dragon Skin+, which has been attracting a lot of attention even before its release.

The distinctive feature is a new technology called Accurate Core Technology.

It uses a round core, which is unique to DR, and grooves are made around the core for the windings.

This ensures a more precise connection between the winding and the core wire.

The windings are made of a state-of-the-art material called Quantum Nickel.
This is a unique formulation and certainly has a different texture to the previous Nickel.

It actually feels relatively brighter to the touch. Could this be the reason for the change in the formulation ratio?

Coated strings often have a more subdued treble range, so this gives them a sense of individuality.

The bass range is not excessive, the rich overtones are pleasant and the quality is obvious.

To the touch, the texture is slightly rougher than nickel strings such as D'Addario or LaBella. However, it only becomes familiar after a little playing.

Perhaps this is due to the different formulation.

The playing feel has a supple texture, as is typical of round koa, and we have a good impression here.

It is also good that despite being coated strings, string grounding is not a problem.

All in all, an excellent piece of work, with a high quality as if it were a new modern product.

'I don't like the feel of coated strings'
Existing coated strings are too expensive.
I want to enjoy a bright sound for a long time.

We would like you to give them a try.
