Zoom was founded in 1983 in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, and is a manufacturer that mainly makes audio equipment such as multi-effects pedals for guitar and bass, handy recorders, MTRs (multi-track recorders), and rhythm machines.

B3n is the successor to ZOOM B3, a bass multi-effects pedal used by many bassists.

With this one unit, you can use modeling of 5 different bass amps, speaker cabinets, and 70 different effects.

These can be freely combined in up to seven different combinations, and up to 150 presets can be stored for your favorite settings.

Three effects are prepared in each patch bank and switched by pushing (stepping on) the switch.
When ON, the LCD screen will show black on white, and the other two will show black on white reversed, which indicates OFF.

A looper that can record phrases of up to 80 seconds, a rhythm machine with 68 built-in rhythm patterns, and a chromatic tuner with bypass/mute switching are also included.
