YAMAHA has been supporting the industry since the dawn of guitar making in Japan, and is the Japanese Gibson, so to speak.
Nathan East, John Patitucci, and many other top-class musicians have used Yamaha basses.

This model is the BB2000, a well-known model.

The through-neck construction and PJ pickups give a sense of the times, but it was the YAMAHA BB series that created that era.
